Chartsy is a hosted, read-only MCP server that gives Lovable your MRR, churn, refunds, site traffic and revenue by marketing channel from Stripe, Paddle, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Creem or Freemius, so you can build and decide with your real numbers. Last updated October 2026.
Which channel brings the most paying customers? Build a landing page for it.
Organic search brings the most paying customers.
One connector and you're done. Nothing to install: the server is hosted, and custom MCP servers work on every Lovable plan.
Settings → Claude & MCP and click Generate tokenChartsy and enter https://mcp.chartsy.app/mcpBearer token or API key, paste the token and add the serverThe token lasts a year and can be revoked in Chartsy any time. It's stored with your Lovable account only: teammates connect their own.
Lovable calls the Chartsy tools when your question needs them. They're all read-only, so they run without an approval card.
How did MRR and signups change this month?
MRR is up 6%.

Chat connectors give Lovable context while you build. They aren't part of the app you publish.

Questions founders ask while building their site and product. Lovable picks the tools, so the calls can vary.
Which marketing channels brought paying customers last quarter?
Three channels brought most of your new MRR:
Sample figures for a made-up business.
Update the pricing page so the most popular plan is highlighted.
Lovable:

Where did this week's visitors come from?
Search and ChatGPT are growing.
AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude show up as their own sources.
Prototype an internal revenue dashboard using my current Chartsy numbers as sample data.
Lovable:
The numbers are a snapshot from when you asked. The published app won't update them.
Which plan loses the most customers?
Starter churns the most.

Ask Lovable which channels bring customers who pay and stay, then build the page, offer or campaign around the ones that work.
Needs the Chartsy tracking script on your site and a connected payment provider. Groups under 5 paying customers are flagged as inconclusive, and retention needs about 90 days to mean much.
Which channels brought paying customers last quarter, and what are they worth now?
Search brings the most money; the newsletter converts best.
The same numbers as your Chartsy dashboard, available in the project chat and in Chats.

Names, emails and write access never do.
Lovable can read your numbers. It can't change Chartsy, your payment provider's data, or your customers.
Customers are payment-processor IDs; names and emails stay in Chartsy. Lovable sees only the accounts and sites your login owns, checked on every call.
Each call uses one ChartsyAI question from your monthly allowance, failed calls included. Broad questions usually take one call.
Most problems are the token or the connector settings.
A workspace admin has turned off custom MCP servers. Ask them to enable Custom MCP under Connectors → Admin settings → Chat connectors.
The token is missing, mistyped, expired or revoked. Generate a new one in Chartsy under Settings → Claude & MCP, then remove the Chartsy connector in Lovable and add it again with the new token.
That's expected. Lovable chat connectors work only in the project chat and in Chats, not in published apps. Use the Chartsy dashboard for live numbers.
Custom MCP connections are personal in Lovable. Each teammate adds the Chartsy connector with their own Chartsy token.
Connect Stripe, Paddle, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Creem or Freemius in Chartsy and let the first sync finish. The demo data added at signup doesn't count.
Each tool call uses one ChartsyAI question, failed calls included. When your monthly allowance is used up, calls stop until it resets on the 1st, or until you upgrade your Chartsy plan.
Short answers for founders building with Lovable.
Generate a token in Chartsy under Settings → Claude & MCP. In Lovable, open Connectors, click + and choose MCP server, name it Chartsy, enter https://mcp.chartsy.app/mcp, choose Bearer token or API key and paste the token.
Yes, by asking. With Chartsy connected, Lovable can answer questions about your MRR, churn, refunds, site traffic and which marketing channels bring paying customers, in the project chat and in Chats.
No. Lovable chat connectors, including custom MCP servers, only give context while you build. They aren't part of the app you publish, so your app's visitors can't reach Chartsy through them.
Connecting costs nothing extra. Custom MCP servers work on every Lovable plan, Chartsy works on any plan including the free trial, and each tool call uses one ChartsyAI question from your Chartsy plan's monthly allowance.
Lovable reads whatever you have connected to Chartsy: Stripe, Paddle, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Creem, Freemius or a custom source through the Chartsy API.
No. All 19 Chartsy tools are read-only. Lovable can't change Chartsy, your payment provider's data, or your customers.
Remove the Chartsy server from your Lovable connectors. To cut access everywhere, revoke the token in Chartsy under Settings → Claude & MCP.
Yes. The get_revenue_by_source tool follows the people who signed up from each source, medium, UTM campaign or post into your billing data, and returns how many became paying customers, what they're worth in MRR today, how many churned and the retention rate. You can choose first touch (where they first found you) or last touch (what made them sign up). It needs the Chartsy tracking script on your site and a connected payment provider. Groups with fewer than 5 paying customers are flagged as too small to call.
Same server, same numbers. Or see all AI agents and the MCP server reference.
Connect your payment provider to Chartsy, add one connector to Lovable, and ask.
