Coming soon to the ChatGPT directory
Chartsy is a hosted, read-only MCP server that lets ChatGPT read your MRR, churn, refunds and site traffic from Stripe, Paddle, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Creem or Freemius. You add it as a custom MCP server on ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu, on the web; a directory listing is in review with OpenAI. Last updated October 2026.

Search wins on volume, newsletters on conversion.
On ChatGPT Free? Custom MCP servers need a paid plan. Chartsy + Claude works on every Claude plan, including Free.

Signups only tell you half the story. ChatGPT can now follow each channel into your billing data, so you see which ones bring customers who pay and stay.
Needs the Chartsy tracking script on your site and a connected payment provider. Groups under 5 paying customers are flagged as inconclusive, and retention needs about 90 days to mean much.

Names, emails and write access stay out of reach.
ChatGPT can read your numbers. It can't change Chartsy, your payment provider's data, or your customers.
Customers are payment-processor IDs; names and emails stay in Chartsy. ChatGPT sees only the accounts and sites your login owns, checked on every call.
Each call uses one ChartsyAI question from your monthly allowance, failed calls included. Broad questions usually take one call.
Most problems are a plan or permission setting.
Use ChatGPT on the web, on a Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan; Free can't add custom servers. If Plugins → + doesn't show the option, turn on Developer mode under Settings → Security and login (older accounts: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings). In a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace, an admin may have to allow custom MCP servers first.
A custom server you add is yours. In a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace, an admin can add Chartsy and publish it for the workspace instead. Each person then signs in with their own Chartsy login and sees only the accounts that login owns.
Type @ in the chat and pick Chartsy, or turn it on from the + menu, then ask again. Naming it helps: "Use Chartsy to…".
Chartsy needs a real payment provider connected and synced. Connect Stripe, Paddle, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Creem or Freemius in Chartsy and let the first sync finish. The demo data added at signup doesn't count.
Open Plugins in ChatGPT, reconnect Chartsy and sign in again, allowing pop-ups. If it happens often, contact support@chartsy.app.
Each tool call uses one ChartsyAI question, failed calls included. When your monthly allowance is used up, calls stop until it resets on the 1st, or until you upgrade your Chartsy plan.
Short answers to what people ask before connecting.
On ChatGPT web, open Plugins, click + and choose Add custom MCP server. Name it Chartsy, enter https://mcp.chartsy.app/mcp under Connection with OAuth, accept the warning, click Create as a plugin and sign in to Chartsy. Then type @ in a chat and pick Chartsy. It needs a Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan.
Chartsy is in review with OpenAI. We don't control the timing, so there's no date yet. You don't need to wait: on any paid plan you can add Chartsy as a custom MCP server today. Once the listing is approved, this page will get an install button.
Yes. Custom MCP servers work on ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu, but not Free. Chartsy only reads, so read-only access is all it needs. On ChatGPT Free, Chartsy + Claude works on every Claude plan, including Free. Chartsy + Claude.
Maybe. Dots use the plugins on your ChatGPT account, and are in beta on Pro, Business Premium and Enterprise. OpenAI hasn't said whether dots can use custom MCP servers like Chartsy yet, so if Chartsy doesn't show up in your dot, ask in a regular ChatGPT chat instead.
That is decided by OpenAI, not Chartsy, so check OpenAI's help article on apps and your ChatGPT data controls ("Improve the model for everyone"). What Chartsy controls: ChatGPT only receives numbers and payment-processor IDs, never customer names or emails. See the Chartsy privacy policy. Chartsy privacy policy.
Connecting costs nothing extra. It works on any Chartsy plan, including the free trial, and each tool call ChatGPT makes uses one ChartsyAI question from your plan's monthly allowance.
ChatGPT reads whatever you have connected to Chartsy: Stripe, Paddle, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Creem, Freemius or a custom source through the Chartsy API.
No. All 19 Chartsy tools are read-only. ChatGPT can't change Chartsy, your payment provider's data, or your customers.
One per tool call, failed calls included. A broad summary is usually one or two calls; a long conversation that digs into several breakdowns uses more.
Remove Chartsy from Plugins in ChatGPT (workspace admins can also unpublish it). You can also revoke access from Chartsy under Settings → Claude & MCP; it stops on the next call.
Yes. The get_revenue_by_source tool follows the people who signed up from each source, medium, UTM campaign or post into your billing data, and returns how many became paying customers, what they're worth in MRR today, how many churned and the retention rate. You can choose first touch (where they first found you) or last touch (what made them sign up). It needs the Chartsy tracking script on your site and a connected payment provider. Groups with fewer than 5 paying customers are flagged as too small to call.
Same server, same numbers. Or see all AI agents and the MCP server reference.
Connect your payment provider to Chartsy, add Chartsy under Plugins in ChatGPT, and ask.
