MRR
Subscriptions normalized to one monthly figure from what was actually billed, split by plan, product and billing interval.
Connect Paddle Billing or Paddle Classic and see your MRR laid out plainly: what it is, what moved it, and where it came from. Add one script to your website and every paying customer is traced back to the channel that brought them.
Needs one Paddle API key. Paddle Classic uses your Vendor ID and API key.
Which channels brought new MRR since April?
Organic search brought the most new MRR, $5,820 since April. Newsletter sponsorships grew fastest, from $310 in April to $740 in September.
Chartsy turns your Paddle transactions, subscriptions and adjustments into SaaS metrics you can trust.
Subscriptions normalized to one monthly figure from what was actually billed, split by plan, product and billing interval.
Cancelled subscriptions by plan, counted when paid access ends - so a cancel at period end never churns early.
What a subscriber is worth over their lifetime, compared across plans and monthly versus annual billing.
Revenue after tax, Paddle’s fees, refunds and chargebacks, by month - so a refund spike never hides inside a good-looking total.
Paddle knows who paid. It doesn’t know whether they found you through search, a newsletter sponsorship or a launch. Chartsy follows each customer from first visit to signup to Paddle subscription, so you can put your time and budget into the channels that grow MRR.
Setup takes a few lines: see the Paddle revenue attribution guide.
Each customer is credited to the visit that brought them.
Paste a Paddle API key. Chartsy imports your customers, products, prices, subscriptions, transactions and adjustments, and registers the webhook for you.
Create it in Paddle under Developer Tools → Authentication.
Copy the Chartsy tracking script onto your site. It records each visit’s source and every signup.
Find it in Chartsy under Growth → Set up tracking.
Add the visitor id to Paddle checkout as custom data, so each payment can be traced back to the visit behind it.
customData: { chartsy_visitor_id }
MRR, churn, LTV and net revenue, broken down by plan and by channel. Build custom dashboards and export them as PDF or PNG.
New, expansion, contraction and churned MRR every month.
Pick a question to see how Chartsy answers it. All figures are sample data.
Which channel brings customers who stay?
Customers from newsletter sponsorships churn least, at 1.9% a month - less than half the rate of customers from X / Twitter (4.7%).
Many Paddle sellers have history in Paddle Classic and new subscriptions in Paddle Billing. Chartsy reads both and adds them up, so the migration never shows up as a cliff in your MRR.
Chartsy reads your customers, products, prices, subscriptions, transactions and adjustments. The only thing it writes in Paddle is the webhook that sends it new events.
Chartsy never sees card numbers or bank details. Turn on GDPR mode to keep customer emails, names and locations out of the sync too.
Delete the data source in Chartsy and it is permanently removed, together with all the data imported from it.
Plans start at $9/month on Starter, with 2 data sources and 2 websites; Growth starts at $29/month with 20 of each. 14-day trial, no card required. See pricing.
For Paddle Billing, one API key: in Paddle go to Developer Tools → Authentication, create a key with read-only access plus the notification permissions Chartsy uses to register its webhook, and set it to never expire. For Paddle Classic, your Vendor ID and a Vendor API Key from the same section.
Yes. Add the Chartsy script to your website, then pass the chartsy_visitor_id cookie as customData when you open Paddle.js checkout (or as custom_data on transactions you create from your server). Chartsy copies it from the transaction onto the customer and credits their revenue to the visit that brought them. Buyers who signed up are also matched by email, unless GDPR mode is on.
Both. Connect a Classic account and a Billing account side by side and All Accounts adds them up, so a migration from Classic to Billing doesn’t break your MRR history. Revenue by marketing channel needs Paddle Billing: for Classic, channels show paying customers but not their MRR.
Yes. Fields you store in Paddle custom data, such as plan type or acquisition source, become breakdowns for MRR, churn and revenue.
Yes. Each Paddle account is its own data source with its own name in the account picker, and All Accounts adds them up with any Stripe, Freemius, Polar.sh, Creem.io or Lemon Squeezy accounts you connect.
Your last 24 months sync automatically right after you connect. After that, the webhook delivers new transactions, adjustments and subscription changes as they happen.
Yes. Turn it on when you connect and Chartsy keeps customer emails, names and locations out of the sync. MRR, churn and revenue stay the same, and customData attribution keeps working; breakdowns by country and matching payments to visitors by email are what you give up.
Connect Paddle, add one script to your website, and see your MRR and where it came from.
