Chartsy is a hosted, read-only MCP server that gives OpenClaw your MRR, churn, refunds and site traffic from Stripe, Paddle, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Creem or Freemius. Add it in the Control UI or the CLI and sign in with your Chartsy login; a weekday morning brief uses about 22 ChartsyAI questions a month. Last updated October 2026.
What happened yesterday in Chartsy? Three lines, flag anything unusual.
Good morning. A normal Tuesday, with one thing to watch.
Add the server once, in the Control UI or from the terminal, and sign in with your Chartsy login. Nothing to install on the Chartsy side: the server is hosted.
chartsy, choose Streamable HTTP and paste https://mcp.chartsy.app/mcpauth to oauthopenclaw mcp add chartsy \ --url https://mcp.chartsy.app/mcp \ --transport streamable-http \ --auth oauth openclaw mcp login chartsy openclaw mcp doctor chartsy --probe
Keep streamable-http; without it OpenClaw assumes SSE. Browser can't reach the callback? Use openclaw mcp login chartsy --code <code>. No browser at all on the gateway host? Use a personal token instead.
openclaw automations create "0 8 * * 1-5" \ "What happened yesterday in Chartsy? Three lines, flag anything unusual." \ --name "Chartsy morning brief" \ --tz "Europe/London" \ --session isolated \ --announce --channel telegram --to "<your-chat-id>"

Sign in for most setups. Use a token when the gateway has no browser or runs for months untouched. The skill is optional.

What happened yesterday in Chartsy? Three lines, flag anything unusual.

Scheduled for weekdays: about 22 ChartsyAI questions a month.
How's MRR this month compared with last month?
MRR is $18,400, up 6% on last month.

Two calls a week: about 9 ChartsyAI questions a month.
Did Tuesday's newsletter bring signups?
Yes, a good day for it.

Who has failed payments I should follow up on today?
4 customers with 2 or more failed payments this quarter.
Chartsy shares IDs, never names or emails.

A second daily automation checks yesterday and stays quiet unless refunds or cancellations jump. Keep it in a private chat: revenue numbers don't belong in public channels.
openclaw automations create "0 9 * * *" \ "Check yesterday in Chartsy. Only reply if refunds or cancellations are above the 7-day average; otherwise reply NO_REPLY." \ --name "Chartsy alert" \ --tz "Europe/London" \ --session isolated \ --announce --channel slack --to "channel:<private-channel-id>"
Signups only tell you half the story. OpenClaw can now follow each channel into your billing data, so you see which ones bring customers who pay and stay.
Needs the Chartsy tracking script on your site and a connected payment provider. Groups under 5 paying customers are flagged as inconclusive, and retention needs about 90 days to mean much.
Which channels brought paying customers last quarter, and what are they worth now?
Search brings the most money; the newsletter converts best.
The Chartsy growth-loop skill teaches OpenClaw a weekly routine: check which channels and posts brought paying customers, recommend where to focus, and draft next week's posts with tracked links for you to review. Connect Postiz or Publer too and the drafts are saved there, never published. Chartsy stays read-only.
On a schedule, OpenClaw can run the loop every Monday and send you the drafts to approve.

The same numbers as your Chartsy dashboard. Limit them with openclaw mcp tools chartsy --include if a job needs only a few.

Names, emails and write access never do.
OpenClaw can read your numbers. It can't change Chartsy, your payment provider's data, or your customers.
Customers are payment-processor IDs; names and emails stay in Chartsy. OpenClaw sees only the accounts and sites your login owns, checked on every call.
Each call uses one ChartsyAI question from your monthly allowance, failed calls included. Broad questions usually take one call.
Most problems are the transport, the sign-in or the gateway's environment.
Check that the server has "transport": "streamable-http". Without it OpenClaw uses SSE, which the Chartsy server doesn't speak. Run openclaw mcp doctor chartsy --probe for details.
OpenClaw only offers sign-in once the server has auth set to oauth. Add --auth oauth (or set it in the server's config in the Control UI), then sign in again. If the browser can't reach the callback, run openclaw mcp login chartsy --code <code>.
When OpenClaw has no valid sign-in for a server, it leaves that server out of the run instead of failing it. Run openclaw mcp doctor chartsy --probe, then openclaw mcp login chartsy. If it keeps happening on an unattended server, switch to a personal token.
The gateway can't see the token. Make sure CHARTSY_MCP_TOKEN is in ~/.openclaw/.env on the gateway host (services don't load your shell profile), then restart the gateway. Remove auth: oauth from the server, because OpenClaw ignores a static Authorization header while OAuth is on. If the token was revoked or expired, generate a new one.
Run openclaw automations runs <job-id> to see the last run. A failed delivery usually means the --channel or --to target is wrong, or the bot isn't in that chat.
Connect Stripe, Paddle, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Creem or Freemius in Chartsy and let the first sync finish. The demo data added at signup doesn't count.
Each tool call uses one ChartsyAI question, failed calls included. When your monthly allowance is used up, calls stop until it resets on the 1st, or until you upgrade your Chartsy plan.
Short answers for people running their own OpenClaw.
In the Control UI, open Settings → MCP → Add server, name it chartsy, choose Streamable HTTP, enter https://mcp.chartsy.app/mcp, set auth to oauth and click Sign in. From the terminal: openclaw mcp add chartsy --url https://mcp.chartsy.app/mcp --transport streamable-http --auth oauth, then openclaw mcp login chartsy.
Sign-in works for scheduled briefs: OpenClaw refreshes the access token itself. If a refresh ever fails, it leaves Chartsy out of that run until you sign in again, so on a headless server that runs for months untouched a personal token is safer. Generate one in Chartsy → Settings → Claude & MCP, add it to ~/.openclaw/.env as CHARTSY_MCP_TOKEN, and run openclaw mcp set chartsy with url https://mcp.chartsy.app/mcp, transport streamable-http and an Authorization header of "Bearer ${CHARTSY_MCP_TOKEN}". It lasts a year.
One per run. A weekday morning brief is one get_daily_snapshot call, so about 22 questions a month. A daily alert check adds about 30. Failed calls count too.
Yes. An automation with --announce delivers to any channel your OpenClaw is connected to, including Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp, Discord and Microsoft Teams. Use a private chat: revenue numbers shouldn't go to public channels.
Connecting costs nothing extra. It works on any Chartsy plan, including the free trial, and each tool call uses one ChartsyAI question from your plan's monthly allowance.
OpenClaw reads whatever you have connected to Chartsy: Stripe, Paddle, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Creem, Freemius or a custom source through the Chartsy API.
No. All 19 Chartsy tools are read-only. OpenClaw can't change Chartsy, your payment provider's data, or your customers.
Run openclaw mcp logout chartsy and openclaw mcp unset chartsy, and remove any Chartsy automations with openclaw automations list and remove. To cut access everywhere, revoke it in Chartsy under Settings → Claude & MCP.
Yes. The get_revenue_by_source tool follows the people who signed up from each source, medium, UTM campaign or post into your billing data, and returns how many became paying customers, what they're worth in MRR today, how many churned and the retention rate. You can choose first touch (where they first found you) or last touch (what made them sign up). It needs the Chartsy tracking script on your site and a connected payment provider. Groups with fewer than 5 paying customers are flagged as too small to call.

Connect your payment provider to Chartsy, add the server to OpenClaw, and schedule the morning brief.
