What Is the Weekly Email Report?
The weekly email report is an automatically generated summary of your most important SaaS metrics, calculated from your live Stripe or Paddle data and delivered to your inbox at the end of each week.
It is enabled automatically once your Stripe or Paddle account is connected and syncing. There is nothing to schedule, configure, or trigger - it just arrives.
What's Included in the Report
Each weekly report contains four sections:
1. Weekly Overview
A snapshot of your core metrics for the week:
- Total active subscribers and change from the previous week
- Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
- Weekly net amount
- New subscribers acquired during the week
- Churned customers and churn rate
- Refunds as a percentage of revenue
2. Plan Performance Table
A breakdown of activity per pricing plan, showing side by side:
- Total subscribers per plan
- New subscribers per plan
- Trial users per plan
- Churned customers per plan
3. Customer Churn Chart
A chart showing which plans lost customers during the week. This helps identify retention problems at the plan level as soon as they appear, rather than weeks later when the trend has compounded.
4. Geographic Distribution
A chart showing where your active customers are located by country. Useful for founders building internationally or monitoring which regions are growing week over week.
When Is the Report Sent?
The report is generated and sent at the end of each week. It covers activity from the seven days prior and is calculated from your most recent synced data. You do not need to take any action - the report runs on its own schedule automatically.
How to Enable or Disable Weekly Reports
Weekly email reports are enabled automatically for all accounts with a connected Stripe or Paddle data source. To manage your email report preferences, go to your account settings inside the Chartsy dashboard.
