Install Chartsy alongside a cookie banner
Load the script unconditionally and wire your banner’s buttons to three calls.
1Load the script on every page, unconditionally
Never behind your banner's consent check. The script enforces consent itself: it asks Chartsy, per visitor, whether cookies are allowed and goes cookieless when they aren't. A script that never loads just stops measuring, and every signup shows an unknown source.
2Wire your banner's buttons
onAccept: window.chartsy.consent('granted'); // cookies on
onWithdraw: window.chartsy.consent('denied'); // no cookies, visitor still counted
onReject: window.chartsy.optOut(); // stop tracking this browserIf your marketing site and app live on different domains or subdomains, wire both identically.
3Choose when cookies need opt-in
In Chartsy under Settings → Domains → Cookies & consent: "Ask everyone first", or "Cookies where permitted" to decide by the visitor's country.
No banner?
Install the plain script and stop. Chartsy already withholds cookies from EEA and UK visitors by default. More in GDPR mode.
